Brief synopsis of World Snooker Championship 2007

World Snooker Championship 2007 boasts 32 of the World's best snooker players, with ten official tournaments all realistically modelled for the 2007 season. Can you take Shaun Murphy to another stunning World Championship win? Or will you be able to bring Ronnie O'Sullivan back to form at the table to regain his titles? A host of new features compliment the title this year. In addition to the snooker offering, Blade Interactive have added the greats from the world of Pool. World Snooker Championship 2007 boasts a comprehensive pool experience where you can play 9 and 8-ball competitions. Play as or against an array of the World's best pool players, and take on 10 major Pool tournaments, including the Mosconi Cup and the World Pool Championships. You can also show off your true skills in a Trickshot Championship - step up and pull off your favourite crowd pleasers from a vast selection of trickshots.

This game isnt what I was expecting. You can't play a pool and snooker tour at the same time you need to finish tour before you start another one. The game also takes ages to load.

You certainly do need to be a serious snooker fan to appreciate this game otherwise I would have thought you may play it twice, maybe three times before vowing never to return.

There has been no obvious improvements to the visuals since the last in the series and this could easy be mistaken for a last gen title. Super slow loading times may not seem a huge issue until you find that you are actually spending the majority of your time waiting for the static menu/game saves to reload due to the insane (and untweakable??) difficulty level. Seriously, you are very lucky to have more than 1 or 2 visits to the table per game as the cpu player clears up almost EVERY TIME!

No matter how much you appreciate snooker in general or enjoy a challenge, mark my words! you will want to smash your 360 after anymore than an hour of watching the cpu make perfect shot after perfect shot and frankly stealing every game.

I love watching & playing both snooker & pool but hated this stupidly unfair game. No fun to be had here unfortunately :(

If your a big snooker fan then buy this, if your not i would rent it or leave it well alone.

As you can imagine it takes a long while to pot balls and win matches after a while it all becomes a little boring, top that off with it being very slow to load games its not for me.

You get the options to play pool and trick shots so you can have a break when you get bored of the snooker.

I would think you'd have to play it for years to win all the competitions, worth a rent but only buy if your a big fan.

Instead of spending the £30-£40 on this game, put the money in your wallet and go to a snooker hall and get a membership. You WILL use it more than you play this game.

I'm not big on writing reviews so i will keep this short. As snooker games go, it is the best one out there. but then, there isnt much competition is there...

I spent alot of money on a big HDTV and sound system to get the best out of my games, However this looked almost exactly like WCS 2006 on the original xbox. Nothing has changed except maybe the reeeeally long loading screens that get very boring. Unless you are a die hard fan then keep your money and spend it on something else.
