F.E.A.R - First Encounter Assault Recon on Xbox 360

Decided to try this game out based on all the reviews on various websites...why did i bother and now I'm even more flumoxed as to how this game ever got a score higher than 3. First 30 minutes this game actually draws you in and for a premier title it actually works..till those 30 minutes pass by then every 10 minutes feels like 1hour..thank the lord i RENTED this game cause if not and i bought it i would happily use it as a frisbee.

The graphics are really below par for a next gen game.

The guns (esp paticle weapon) are nice.

The enemies repetitive.

One gamer increadibly disappointed..my advice rent(only if its the last game available) do not buy.

Very nice graphics and very nice gameplay aswell. Especially the slow-move effect is excellent!!! Its suppose to be scary but it fails to do soo, however is still a very nice game to play. The effects are really nice especially when you blow up the enemys into little pieces and their blood spreads everywear. ALL IN ALL THIS IS A GREAT GAME ITS IS RECCOMENTED TO ANYONE THAT LIKE SHOOTING GAMES

fear is graphically very good the control system is simple and responsive its a thoroughly enjoyable game to play all in all its a hit for the xbox 360

average shooter, though with some good touches,explosions look cool and the nail gun is fun to use as for the scare element it just does not cut it....this review was played on a hdtv with 5.1 sound

This game was originally a PC title before making its way to the 360. I was looking forward to trying the concole version feeling the controls would be a little more comfortable and this at least was true. The graphics were pretty ok, tollerable and average to a next gen shooter but didnt really stand out.

The game play was good, for the most part. simple to shoot them in the head and ake them dead strategy because the amount of round in the body required could be obsene. The level design is fair enough. and not as difficult as its pc counter part.

all in all a good but very bland shooter. not really scary. If you want a good scare get condemned 1 (2 is good but not as scary).
