Brief synopsis of Disney's Meet the Robinsons

It wouldn't be a Disney film if it didn't result in a slew of video game spin-offs, would it? Not wanting to disappoint, Disney Interactive Studios has brought us Disney Pictures Presents Meet the Robinsons.

Crazy time travel is the name of the game here. That nasty Bowler Hat Guy and his equally sinister robotic hat Doris are making their way through time, changing the past and messing with the future. The job of stopping them falls to Wilbur Robinson, as he dodges through time, doing everything he can to outmanoeuvre them.

The game takes players beyond the movie, expanding the film's plot by exploring alternate futures created by the Bowler Hat Guy's machinations. This leads to the creation of two all-new villains, exclusive to the game.

The game takes you on a whirlwind tour of time, throwing in new worlds such as Ancient Egypt and crazy gadgets like the Protectosphere. Also on offer, of course, are favourites from the movie such as the Science Fair. You'll need to use Wilbur's gadgets in crafty ways as you solve puzzles and complete missions to stop time being permanently messed up.

Sure, time travel can mess with your head and confuse you until you don't know what's the past and what's future, but our advice is not to worry about it and go with the flow. If you keep your wits about you and your reactions sharp, it'll all come together in the end.

Rated - 4 starsDisney meet the Robinsons- Review

Paul Morel from Farnborough , 18/04/2007

This Game is titled for ages 7 and up, and if there is a 7yr old that can bo some of the puzzles then wow! The game (if you are buying/renting for kids), is challenging. I did get through it quite quickly but was disappointed that once you complete it you can't go back and do what you missed eg. finding vr discs and completing your achievement points without redoing the whole game. The game play is good and graphically sound with little bugs, and is very engaging and entertaining.

Rated - 2 starsUmmm, its ok

This game is ok, and thats it. The tediousness of running round the house trying to open doors creeps in after a short time of playing. I agree that it is designed to be a childrens game, Show me someone who says there child can play this and i'll show you a liar!

This game is quite tricky and it won't be long before your wanting to put your foot through the TV.

All i can say is put this game in your list as a safety net.... Don't get too excited though

Rated - 4 starsbetter than most disney games

A customer from leicester , 18/07/2007

this had all the usual disney problems low quality graphics irritating camera angles and glitche controls. however it made up for that by not being as easy as most other film based games and offering many puzzles that made me think for a few minutes. thats not to say its hard and i think its suitably taxing for older children so they wont be bored in five minutes.

a very good platform/adventure game that is a win/win due to the inclusion of Boulderdash levels.

a very easy game that will be playable by most age groups.
