Tried this out because I wanted to see what else Richard Ayoade had done besides the wondrous IT Crowd. It was interesting to see Matthew Holness's other characterisations besides pompous ass Garth Marenghi, which was the only one I already knew.

Man to Man was enjoyable enough, if a little patchy. Some episodes worked better than others and watching them back to back didn't really help, as it emphasised the repetiveness of the format. However, that's probably true for most comedy shows and it shouldn't be a deterrent. Give this one a go, there are some very funny moments.

These boys first released Darkplace on channel 4 three years ago,an 1980`s spoof of cross between X-files and ER.it was overlooked by most but was an absolute gem. Now here comes the follow up Man to Man a comedy chat show.its a nice bit of comedy bringing back some of Darkplaces main characters. although not as good as darkplace and slightly laking in origiality its still a great watch

If you liked 'Garth Marenghi's Darkplace' then you will love this! Matthew Holness( Garth Marenghi) plays six different characters being interviewed by the Porn baron Dean Learner ( Richard Ayoade ). Each character is mad in their own way! I espectially liked the American actor who's had a little bit too much plastic surgery done to him! Truely classic stuff!!
