this film is awful and about as scarry as the above mentioned fairy tale. Fan's of the book's will be very dissapointed. The acting is atracious especially from such a great cast list. Worst off all was sir anthony hopkins who just could'nt be bothered anymore, Edward Norton was one dimensional and souless ralph fiennes was completly miscast all in all it's some off the worst cardboard acting i have seen in a long time so who's bright idea was it to put this rubbish onto HD-DVD what a waist of this great emerging technology

the the picture quality was'nt any better than standard DVD and the soundtrack was pointless on a film this bad checkout Manhunter on DVD to see how it should be done

It is not Silence of the Lambs but a good, solid film and Anthony Hopkins great as usual.
