I love this program and im sure drive my wife up the wall watching it.
the deadliest catch is the hunt in alaska for red king crab and later in the year opilio crab.
these crabs fetch huge sums of money on the seafood markets but live in one of the most hazardous areas of sea in the world.
The dangers faced by the fishermen for there bounty is machinery rogue waves and deadly frigid seas.
the series concentrates on 5 boats of the fleet and the crews on board
it can be amusing,sad,heartbreaking all in one episode and these guys do a job that i could never hope to do.
Its a fantastic series and a big insight into fishing on the bearing sea.
