Travelling through our nation’s countryside, David Dimbleby presents this captivating portrait of Britain’s architecture. Brilliant shows. We have visited many of the places featured for a closer look. Presented in such a way that the kids found interesting also.

I really enjoyed this DVD. It was fascinating to 'read' our history from our surrondings. Britain has such alot of history to it and this DVD brings it to life. Fantastic photography, and David Dimbleby is a great narrator - rather funny in places. Great viewing.

An excellent production, brilliant photography and presentation.

The only criticisms are that they don't always tell you where the places are , a lack of maps and it never says if they are open to the public.
