this is one of my favourite fims - fast, flawless social satire on class, race and business in modern France. The contrasts between two very different families in paris are played out on a background of fraud, drug dealing, deception, intentional food poisoning, and adultery, but the real fools are not at first apparent, and the ending is just, if rather too sweet.

It's a gentle feelgood film, perfect if you are looking for a bit of stylish light entertainment.Totally unbelievable, but that's the beauty of cinema!Usually i don't enjoy this level of sentimentality in a film but it worked for me, i was just thinking what a mess Hollywood would have made of the same script.
