Play as Ryu Hayabusa, a young master ninja who seeks vengeance against those who attacked his village and stole the Dark Dragon Blade. Featuring exclusive new features including dual wielding weapons, deadly new enemies, and the ability to play as Rachel.

This is what I have been missing on the PS3. Absolute brilliant game fantastic graphics. Warning when you play this game you wont be able to put it down. Its got that brilliant 'just one more go' and has a difficulty level set at the right level. YOU MUST PLAY THIS GAME.

Rated - 3 starsNinja Gaiden Black is superior.

A customer from N.I. , 28/02/2008

Having played Black and Sigma, I have decided I prefer Ninja Gaiden Black. Sigma ramps up the difficulty in a ham-handed manner; I frequently died in situations I previously survived by performing the exact same action. It felt like my success was determined by a hidden dice roll that I had no control over. This detracted considerably from Ninja Gaiden's infamous sense of challenge.

Having said that: the graphical update is tasteful and does not subjugate the core gameplay, Ninja Gaiden games are exceptional as a rule, and the use of the sixaxis is a nice touch; so I won't rate it too harshly.

Rated - 4 starsFantastic, but fantastically hard too

Excellent game, graphics, storyline and gameplay are all there. It was just too damn hard even on easy. Definetely recommended however be prepared to have to retry alot to get past certain bits.

the game looked well but for me it was not very gripping. you pretty much go through the levels doing the same thing fighting many foes in the same manor as before so it gets a little boring. it is worth a rental but don't expect too much from the game.

have fun!

Rated - 5 starsAre you hard enough?

A customer from Southampton , 23/08/2007

Probably not, is the answer. This game is hard as nails, looks and sounds great with combat which surpasses any recent fighting game. Add to this additional levels (over the original xBox version) and you're on to a winner, a definite for your rental list!
