Brief synopsis of The Pool

When you mix hot teenagers, a vicious murderer, and an abandoned pool, you get movie that is nearly irresistible. THE POOL is that movie, a frightening horror story that begins when 13 hopeful teenagers graduate from high school. Elated at the thought of their new lives in college and the real world, the youngsters find a way to bust into their city's abandoned public pool and throw a huge party. But one of them has an ulterior motive--a desire for revenge that turns out to be fatal.

Not bad if you are a fan of horror movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream. A traditional slasher set in a swimming pool complex.

Fairly standard story, of a madman amongst a group of friends, but nobody is sure who it is, and could it be one of them. Plot is fine, and does throw up some good twists.

Also some pretty orginal and gruesome deaths, and some genuine suspence filled moments, acting a bit painful from some of the cast, and good stuff from others, a half decent modern slasher movie, with all the right elements, including cute chicks, well worth a look!

This film was my partner's choice and I was expecting a real stinker, but it's actually quite good. Some cheesy acting in it but it kept me entertained.

A dull and pointless splatter (or lack of it!) fest - unoriginal and very bad acting!
