Brief synopsis of Tenchu Z

Tenchu Z is a Ninja Stealth/Action game developed by K2 and published by From Software the first Ninja title on Xbox 360. Set in Feudal Japan and reflecting Ninja mythology, in Tenchu Z players must incorporate stealth, sword-based combat and the ability to utilise a wide variety of ninja accessories to complete their objectives all while taking into account how much noise they make, how visible they are, and even how badly they smell.

There are more than 50 different missions, from espionage to assassination to hostage rescue, for both solo and co-operative play. You can team up with a friend to finish off your foes. Let your partner subdue the enemy from behind while you run through him with your katana!

Was looking forward to this game and was completely disappointed. A generic 3rd person adventure. Hap-hazard controls, found it difficult to swap weapons quick and effectively. But the game was so easy all you had to do was button bash the attack button.

Graphics weren't bad, but not a patch on the high-end games of the next gen consoles.

Didn't manage to get to the end, couldn't stay awake that long, so boring and generic... Give it a miss.

Unless you plan on playing this game on easy/medium difficulty you will get frustrated, as if you die you must start from scratch .Or if you made a mistake or got spotted and want ninja 5 rank you would have to start from scratch.Play on easy, enjoy the game and have fun .just that last mission can be a pain......Good tenchu game repetitve missions , but a enjoyable ninja experience.

The ranking system seems badly designed, getting in and out with no detections and killing only your objective won't give you the highest rank which in my opinion is what a Ninja should do. There are some situations where you really should be able to kill people and it doesn't give the opportunity for example hiding under a building or when someone comes running round a corner, also some of the controls are badly thought out, not being able to look freely while under a building can cause you to crawl out when someone's standing right next to you. Other than these personal qualms with the game I have to say I enjoyed it, Tenchu isn't for everyone but if you have patience and like the idea of stealth that doesn't involve doing the splits between conveniently placed gaps in the ceiling this ones for you.

This is a pretty good game, only major downfall is its difficulty, being of the fact that its far too easy. The enemies suffer from severe amnesia so you can slash them, run away and a minute later they forget it ever happened.
