Brief synopsis of Madden NFL 08

Feel what it's like to be a field general making key personnel decisions on both sides of the ball during the game's biggest moments in Madden NFL 08. Great game so far, never played Madden before but got into the NFL recently so was looking forward to this game - can be simple to turn on and mash buttons but seems very complex to actually get skillful at the game, not too sure if I know what I'm doing yet but in Rookie mode I'm unstoppable (although I can't even score in Pro mode yet never mind win a game!)

Got this from the US a few days ago, loads more options (perhaps a few too many) and variables in plays. Screen can look a bit confusing at first especially the menu systems.

The only real downside is that it is not a Full HD game and doesn't play at 1080p only goes upto 720p which is disappointing.

Definately worth a look if your an American Football fan, fun to play and graphically very good, incredibly confusing as a novice though and would need some time to get into to fully understand, a lot of my plays seem to be blind luck.

I was excited to recieve this title, but posted it back within hours. The control system is far too clunky and the players' movement doesnt seem to be right within the game. Lot's of options but to be honest it was overkill. With superstar mode, franchise mode etc it just seemed too complicated, all I wanted to do was play the game

Great graphics loads of extras but the play seemed clunky, and far too complicated if you just want to plug and play. However if your BIG NFL fan and have a grasp of the game the one player career mode could be for you.
