Brief synopsis of The 4400 - The Complete Third Season

These are the stories of 4400 abductees after they are returned to Earth. People dealing with traumatic changes, driven by the mystery of what happened and why. Some of them have been affected in mysterious ways, and some will have certain abilities, both good and bad. The pilot has a ball of light sailing towards Earth. But rather than the expected catastrophic event, thousands of returned abductees are left with no memory of their otherworldly experiences. Each has been gone anywhere from a few months to several decades but hasn't aged a day.

Never really got into it when it stared but now im hooked...it needs to get renewed for a fifth season in the states...it just keeps getting better. Also a word for any TV shows, this one dosent end every season with about 9 cliffhangers, just trying to get renewed for another year. They have to be praised for that!

Rated - 2 starsMuch weaker than S1 and S2

Lets face it - keeping the magic of series 1 and 2 going indefinitely was always going to be hard. Series 3 falls into ever darker and more convoluted plot twists as the focus moves away from people performing miracles and onto government conspiracies, terrorist organisations, and killing off the annoying characters. Now that the 4400 have finally realised their potential, they can do battle in a man vs mutant chess game reminiscent of X-men.

Is it better than Heros? I still think so. But theres no denying that the ideas here are getting tired.

I wouldn't know where to start in summarising the various storylines, other than to say that they are very derivative and done better elsewhere. If I want to see terrorist conspiracies, I'll watch 24 or reruns of X-files. If I want to see women in bed together, I'll watch Pink Velvet - the art of female love.

Nah - only kidding. There are no girls together in this. Might have received a better review if there had been...

Rated - 4 stars4400:Better then 2, not as good as 1

I liked the darker edge, this series gave to the 4400, as aposed to the 'saviours' of the first two series. Yet still this wandred into this in places, with evil goverment etc being the villians. Some of the plot developments, were good, some were bad and others made little sense (the shooting by Kyle still isn't explained, nor is how Seans advisor who wasn't a 4400 knew all about them, perhaps waiting for the next series?). Except for these plot holes, I preferred it to the last series. While not great TV , it is good and worth watching.
