Brief synopsis of Project Gotham Racing 4

Right from the starting line, Project Gotham Racing 4 creates an emotionally-charged racing experience, where you become attached to your careers, profiles, and vehicles. There are several new features that embody this emotional experience, the most significant being the new career mode. For the first time in PGR history, drivers will have the option of racing a variety of motorcycles from top manufacturers, such as Ducati, BMW and Honda. Whether on two wheels or four, players must perform daring and stylistic moves to win over their fans, who will cheer them on as they follow their road to racing notoriety.

Get ready to be rewarded with a growing fanbase that cheers you on, reacts to your every move, and supports you through victory. Just imagine hearing the roar of the crowd as you cross the finish line with your own style and flair. In addition, through a new content server, drivers can save their favorite races and search over Xbox LIVE for race content that is specific to their interests. Players can find out who has the longest slide or wheelie in Shanghai or St. Petersburg, for example, through the innovative new content server.

Such an improvement on PGR 3! The graphics have been tweaked a little and the handling of the cars has been nicely sorted. It feels like a mix between PGR 2 and PGR 3 and the addition of motorbikes is more than welcomed.

There are several different game modes including Arcade, Career, Time Trial and Multiplayer (including online). I actually purchased this game and I am very pleased with it.

Choose between 100's of cars and plenty of bikes too, amazingly the designers have done a very good job of making the cars and bikes evenly matched, at first I thought the bikes had no chance but once mastered they're easily just as good.

As a single player game there is plenty to keep you going for quite a while. I'm playing it on the hardest setting (Hardcore/Platinum) and some of the stages are almost too hard, expect several attempts at some stages! If you're not feeling so brave then play on Gold or Silver or Bronze if you want to play with your eyes closed (its that easy!).

The online mode is good too, I haven't noticed any lag yet which is always a bonus but I have noted a few minor faults. You can't see what position other players are in during the race, lap times aren't shown at all, there is no way to lock the car to the same as the host (occasionally some lamer will refuse to use a car from a certain class)and a few other niggly little things. None of the above are major issues but it would be nice if an update could add them.

Playability is the main thing and this game certainly has it. Not quite as serious as Forza 2 which perhaps makes it more fun?

Fans of the highly acclaimed project gotham racing franchise will love this latest addition to the series !!!!!! quite simply its fantastic !!, 36 hours straight ive been playing this game and I,m nowhere near finished nor bored !!!!!.

my description of this game is TESTDRIVE MEETS FORZA 2 PROJECT GOTHAM STYLE !!!!!.

And the graphics are absolutely superb !!!!! PS3 owners you are missing out bigtime !!!!.

This is just another revamped little improved title. You get what you expect with the added vague interest of manic angry bikers. They have improved some of the challenges involving road cones though.
