Rated - 5 starsRocking Rodents are hilarious.... fact !

PaulaWestwood from Ashton-Under-Lyne [Highly rated reviewer] , 16/12/2007

Say this is funny and you might as well say the Atlantic ocean is a bit damp...it isn't just a tad funny it's full on hilarious. The animated 'munks' interact with Jason (My Name is Earl) Lee, and vice-versa perfectly and the antics of both just had the whole audience from 3 to whatever age (I'm not giving my age away) rockin in the aisles with genuine laughter.

One interesting bit we noticed, it was 1958 that these guys first hit the charts and what number house does Jason Lee live at ?, check it out, along with some other nods to the approaching 50 year outing for these rockin rodents. This is one of the films of the year, completely zany furry fun.. Definately highly recommended.

Rated - 2 starsA couple chuckles...

Andybe from Richmond , 18/04/2008

Alvin and the Chipmunks had a few chuckles - unfortunately, those chuckles were separated by seas of doldrums. The human/CGI interaction was poor, which hurt the comedy there was.

While I'm just a crotchety old man incapable of enjoying something like this, my 9 year old's boredom doesn't have the same explanation.

Alvin and the Chipmunks was mostly dull - my kids expected better.

Rated - 5 starsGreat entertainment!!

Pittler from Batley [Highly rated reviewer] , 05/04/2008

I have recent been to see Alvin and the Chipmunks with my partner and her neice. From the beginning of the film it is very comical with the audience both targeted (Children and adults).

I would recommend any child or family to watch this for a few hours of entertainment.

me and my children loved this film. The only thing tht i found a bit strange was the ending, the film sort of stopped suddenly, i would of liked to have seen a bit more of the film.
