Brief synopsis of The Dog Problem

In L.A., Solo has writer's block after a successful first book he's ashamed of. He's broke, thanks to a year in analysis and in the final session his shrink suggests he get a pet. Solo buys a scrawny terrier but this only adds to his problem as he finds himself in debt to more and more people. But when a persistent rich girl offers to buy the dog off him, he must decide if he really wants to part with his pet.

Two great performances from Giovanni Ribisi as the hapless loner and the dog as a hapless loner canine. How extraordinary the character should choose a dog so like himself !! Every character was so interesting in their own right---the womaniser--the spoiled rich girl-- the tough guy --the intellectual stripper--the 'try-not-to-get-emotionally-involved' therapist.... all wonderfully fleshed out in some great supporting performances. A truly entertaining film. Well done !! A must-see for dog-lovers !

This was the worst film I have ever viewed... in fact I switched off it was soooo bad! If you are a dog lover of enjoy romcoms don't rent this movie. If you like bad taste films which are not suitable for children, then this is right up your street!

as the tittle describes this is rubbish, one of the worst films i have seen in a long time.

just went nowhere.don`t bother,you will regret wasting valuable minutes of your life.

i`d rather watch grass grow,it`s more fun.

This was not a good film and the dog was a nice dog. The male lead was an embarrassment and the plot was iffy to say the least. I did manage to watch it all the way through but I would not recommend this film .
