Six young Americans travel to Ireland and head for the hills in search of magic mushrooms but it all goes horribly wrong when one of them forsees their impending doom.

A forgettable movie that is not particularly bad on the whole, but which has its negatives outweighing its positives. It is a quite basic & straight-forward movie with passable acting from a cast of unknowns, but it also has stereotypical characters, predictable plot development, uses cheap-scares, lacks any real tension or atmosphere and has a predictable ending (but one that makes sense given what has happened leading up to it). It is also too dark at times to see what is going on, with most (if not all) of the deaths off-screen.It lacks originality and is pretty much a mixture of lots of films - Blair Witch Project, Severance, Wrong Turn and The Grudge to name a few!

That really is the moral of the story for me with regards this film. I'd seen the trailer and thought it worth a watch but was put off by bad reviews on here and elsewhere. It's not very original but then how many horror films are? Friday 13th meets Deliverance meets Blair Witch but the mushrooms aspect does give it something unique. The script and storyline are decent and the film is well directed. It generates the suspense and claustrophobia that a good horror movie should.I've seen better horror flicks but I've seen far worse, including some of the over-hyped ones. If you're a horror fan then this one is worth a look in my view.

They've described this film as 'Blair Witch on Acid'....really? Blair Witch was actually scary compared to this film! It starts with the silliness of the title of the film to set the precedence to the rest of the film that was equally, if not more, silly!I got annoyed after a while seeing how the main actress kept being filmed rolling in the mud. It is supposed to make sense in the end, but then within about 20 minutes of the film you figure out the twist and the ending. So no surprises in store folks( unless of cause you fell asleep and only woke up to see the end). Probably one of the worst 'scary' flicks I have seen in ages. As the previous reviewer correctly said, the murders were off screen, the thrills were cheap and the actors were your run- of- the- mill- waiting- to- get- slaughtered- idiots! AVOID!

This was really quite scary, I just couldn't stop watching. A lesson, dont go out to the woods if you're going to take some magic mushrooms. Stay at home.

This movie is just so bad. It is well made and nicely edited but that is about it. I have taken mushrooms lots of times when i was a teen and all i did was laugh at whatever. But i guess there isn't much of a movie there. But this is bad. Don't let it put you off tripping lol.

The bestfilm we have watched for a while - Shrooms was exciting and funny in parts - it was so good we kept it longer than usual - and you never really knew what was going to happen next - my daughter watched it agin with friends for her birthday - they all agreed it was a great film - good special effects had us really believing in what we were watching - and yes we even want to go ahead and buy it - if you like horror and thriller with a bit of humour this is the film for you
