Brief synopsis of Scene It?: Lights, Camera, Action

PLEASE NOTE BUZZERS ARE NOT INCLUDED -'SCENE IT?' CAN BE PLAYED WITH REGULAR CONTROLLERS. Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action is a multiplayer trivia game that tests even the most seasoned pop culture trivia pros and allows up to four teams or individual players to relive moments from their favourite movies.

Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action comes complete with four new wireless Big Button Pads, so each team or individual player has a buzzer for that realistic 'game show' feel. The Big Button Pad takes its inspiration from the buzzers used by contestants in countless game shows throughout the years, but uses the latest infrared technology to minimise the chances of an argument over who answered first.

good game but rather similar to buzz on the PS2. It has a nice little feature that makes sure that you don't get asked the same question too often. Like i said before... Good but Similar.

Excellent game if you are a film fan. Very enjoyable as 1 player trying to best your score and even more fun in multiplayer with friends and family.

An easy 1000pts if you are a film fan too. Although I am sure that you could cheat your way to 1000 by using the internet (oddly the game allows you to pause it after a question is asked).

Couple of caveats though.

First - you do not get the special controllers with the rental. All the answers are colour coded by the controller's buttons - blue, yellow, green, red. This was fine for myself and anyone I knew who knows the layout of a normal controller by heart, but those people I played with who didn't constantly had to look at the buttons to see which colour they wanted to press. Which tended to mean they would not score very highly as they were not answering quickly enough!

Second - I played this fairly solidly for 3 days (Fri to Sun) and I started to get a lot of repeat questions. I think there are supposed to be about 2000, but if you play a long game you answer about 75 so you can see how quickly you start to se the same thing.

this games pretty fun to play, by yourself, with some mates, family and especially the girlfriend. It's a laugh but i'll warn you now it does get pretty competitive ;D

I wouldn't say buy it though, just rent it when you want to play it, when you have people over or something. I played it for a weekend, a few hours a night and got one repeat question.. there's about 2000 questions but when you get asked I think about 90 questions in a long game, this isn't gonna take particulary long to start getting repeats.

Overall it's a good game and worth a rent :)
