Brief synopsis of Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom

Departing from Action RTS formula of the previous Kingdom Under Fire series, Circle of Doom makes full use of the Xbox 360's power to create a revolutionary gaming experience. Players will explore randomly generated vast dungeons and battle monsters swarming the screen in thousands and attacking from all directions along the floors, walls, and ceilings of the dungeons. As the game progresses, the heroes will find increasingly devastating and spectacular ways to defeat massive enemy forces in the forms of new abilities and weapons, or even create their own arsenal by combining the existing ones.

Taking maximum advantage of the Xbox 360's online features, Circle of Doom seamlessly merges single-player and multiplayer modes. Players may choose to play alone or recruit 4-player parties to continue their quest as a team via Xbox Live without switching modes or anything. Each player can take their single-player characters to the party quest or create a new character with useful skills to compliment each other. They can even trade their own custom-crafted items with other party members.

Although Circle of Doom is not a direct successor to the previous Kingdom Under Fire titles, its storyline serves as an important link between them and the upcoming and yet unannounced chapter of Kingdom Under Fire saga. The game features a cast of heroes include those returning from all the previous Kingdom Under Fire titles, including the original PC version. Depending on the player's decision, the story branches out and players may encounter totally unexpected turn of events.

Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom combines innovative features, explosive action play mechanics and unique RPG themes, all presented in the most advanced HD visuals of epic scale and exotic style.

I didn't realise that this game was a turn based one if I had I wouldn't have rented it the graphics and sound are good but I just don't like turn based games.

This game is a brillaint fun great 4 player co-op rpg , i spent a full 7 days playing this addictive RPG. at first of all i started on the single player and started doing the STORY line (which involves doing quests , finding items and killing beasts). i did have to admit the lack of the bosses were easy to beat but the game play , soundtrack and graphics are top notch. i would actually recomend you buy this game or if you rent it play it for a week or more to actually get the most out of it. it does take a while to get into and how to do stuff and what you have to do but like all games you pick it up.

Happy Renting this game!

Rated - 2 starsKingdom under fire: circle of gloom?

The game handles and presents graphics in a stylish and well lit manner, the AI-less enemies come round every turn to 'ambush' your every move. All the elements in a decent game that you think could have been 'patched up' are in this game, the only problem is the gameplay. Repetitive, boring and all you basicly do is hack 'n' slash your way through enemies that seem too scared to attack. The story is different for each of the characters but to be honest its sucks for them all as you have to sleep for some reason to get a quest from an old guy and some words of advice or if your lucky a small cut scene which i think previous players of the kingdom under fire games are supposed to understand. The online co-op play makes up for the bad fightingand lacking story line, so i would consider this game worth a rent!-if you have xbox live- itll keep you ammused for a while, but not worth spending £45 on, especially if you dont have xbox live!, thanks for reading!

In the 20 + years I have been gaming this has got to be one of the worst titles I have ever played. The gameplay was repetitive and very much restricted, character abilities are weak and player strategy is almost non existant.

I will admit I did not like this game from the beginning, I did push forward to see if the game would improve but it didn't.

No excuse in this day and age to release a commercial product of this standard, I am very happy this was rented and not purchased or I would demand my money back.

You have been warned...
