Rated - 1 starPoor finish, dire multyplayer

Gemmell from Lincoln [Highly rated reviewer] , 02/10/2008

this was a severe disapointment for me, all the reviews and advertising about this game leads you to think that its actualy good.

the game play and graphics are reasonable, bit a little bugged. the controles of your group are easy to use and the use of the groups can make for some enjoyable momens in the game.

i was realy annoyed by the opening though, having to sit though all the cut scenes realy dragged on, then they came up frequently thoughout the game, only a few are jumpable.

when playing multiplayer there are only a few maps and there are lots of little bugs graphicaly. there is only one multyplayer mode, and this leads it to be very boring fast. weapon selection can be a little annoying, at first the shared groups can add a touch of finéss but after a few games becomes one of multyplaer modes major put offs. to brifly explain you ban be the squad leader, special weapons, gunner or tank operator. this is a random selection and appart from the tank and squad leader comes with a diferent selection of weapons. but when your squad keeps getting wiped out by the attaking groups tank (they are the only ones who get one) and you keep being spawned into the round as a gunner, it can get very frustrating very fast.

over all i felt that this could have been a much better game, CoD 4 has been out a while now and still classed as the best game on the market, Brothers in Arms:Hells Highway could have been a good contender, but the rough finish, the lack of playability and the frustrating multiplayer mode leaves a bad taste in my mouth to warent playing again

oVERALL i THINK THE GAME WAS QUITE GOOD, I AHVE FINISHED IT IN 3 DAYS AFTER PLAYING IT FOR LONG AS 3-4 HOURS EVERYDAY, the graphics were ok, however not even near call of duty 4. the story was a bit stupid the action waas good specially controlling your squad to do nearly everyhting.

soo yeah, i would definetly say it was worth the rent, cant wait for call of duty and medal of hounour thoughh

Rated - 4 starsA thrilling rollercoaster of a ride

.......GRAPHICS RUBBISH!!!! I am sorry but that is untrue. I admit when you first play the game it does put you off in a slightly off beat boring plot to start with but once you get into the game and the plot thickens i found that i just wanted to carry on playing. The story line is good, the action can at some stages be tense. I found the game to be entertaining the graphics ARE very good ,i actually found the graphics to be one of the best i have seen in a while. Not over detailed but just right. I loved the way that when you play the game it then goes into a cut scene to carry on the story onto the next stage. Its a very thought provoking game and does take time to get used to the controls. You cant just go guns blazing on this game and does require some thinking of how to use your resources(brothers in arms). Enjoy this game. Oh and one thing is true the online is poor and doesnt live up to the game. Enjoy this for the game and not online.

considering this is on the ps3 the graphics and framerate are RUBBISH! The story line isnt much cop either. ive never written a review before but i had to for this cos its so bad. When you fire the weapons the sound is awfull the sub machine gun sounds like a type writer! its just not realistic one bit. waste of hard earned dough.
