Brief synopsis of P2

Angela Bridges (Rachel Nichols), an ambitious and gorgeous young lawyer, hurries out of her upscale Manhattan office on the way to see her family. She descends to parking level P2, she tries to start her car. The engine won't turn. She tries again. It still won't start. She is trapped in a haunting, underground world - a world which is inhabited by a dark and forgotten soul, who is watching her every move. Brooding in his subterranean office, Thomas (Wes Bentley) spends his days alone, isolated underground, watching people come and go with little contact with or interest in, the outside world. Except for Angela. Thomas develops a disturbing obsession for Angela. As the prospect of spending another Christmas alone becomes all but certain, something seething inside Thomas snaps.

An above average horror/thriller offering from director Franck Khalfoun that's quite entertaining and rather stylish in parts and one that once you start watching you just can't turn off. A simple tale Angela (Rachel Nichols) is a workaholic young executive working late in New York city on Christmas Eve. One of the last people to leave the building before joining her family for the seasonal festivities she takes the lift down to the parking lot only to find that her car won't start. Enter Thomas (Wes Bentley) a security guard who turns out to be a psychopath obsessed with Angela, and although initially tries to help her start her car in an attempt to gain her trust ,eventually shows his true colours when he detains her against her will, and a rollercoaster ride begins as they play cat and mouse with each other in the confines of the deserted car park. A tad gory on times, it creates some suspense filled and truly tense moments as we see Angela fight back and attempt to escape from Thomas and his huge and rather vicious dog Rocky. Wesley who played Ricky Fitts in American Beauty has that screen prescence to carry off this role perfectly and Ms Nichols attacks her part with spirit and real enthusiasm. Fans of this genre will certainly find something to enjoy in this one, and even though it has it's predictable moments at just over an hour and a half is just enough to keep you interested.

One of the best films i've seen in a long time. You might think that someone being stalked in an underground carpark by a strange paranoid security guard wouldn't keep you enthralled. It does.

Won't ruin it for you,but its action from beginning to end.

Good car chase in carpark at end.

Up there with HITCHER,WOLF CREEK etc.

Quite gruesome at the end.

If you like PHONEEBOTH,HITCHER,DEAD END,WOLF CREEK then its similar and as good in my oppinion.

A solid genre effort about a blonde woman who is stalked in a parking garage during xmas break by a deranged security guard who is infatuated with her.

It's your typical stalk and slash movie but its nicely shot and Wes Bentley's performance almost makes up for Ghost Rider. Rachel Nichols is mostly required to show her cleavage and cry but she does both a helluva lot better than most in the genre. It ends up as a typical cat and mouse game but its fun along the way and the prosthetic work is top notch.
