History Channel: Battle For The Pacific on PS3 (2008)

Dissapointing

This game was made partly with Activision so i thought it would be a decent WW2 shooter plus with the History channels accuracy i thought it would be good, but NO! I completed the game the day i got it i played it for 2 hours MOST! For a next gen game the graphics are bad, gameplay is fairly repetative, the trenches look the same, you know when there will be a fight because you either hear the japs shouting or your team shout someting like 'here they come' or 'we're being flanked' or 'the area's crawling with them' when they ARENT THERE, after your team say this they run around the corner. Also your Commanding Officer in the game keeps saying 'follow me' 'dont get lost' 'you will follow me and thats an order' even when you are following him! Very annoying i'd miss this game if i were you.

Very disappointing game, I agree 99% with the previous reviewers points. I didnt even bother to complete it, 40 minutes in and I had had enough. Although I didnt find the graphics that bad, and I liked the in depth history. However I would most definetely say dont waste your time on this game it isnt worth it.

If Activision can release games such as Call of Duty World at War, why do they even dare publishing this rubbish. The gameplay is repetitive, the characters are awful and the graphics are more like PS2! Don't waste your rent!

Battle for gameplay!

Although not the worst PS3 game in the world, the gameplay is just not good enough. Should only be RENTED and even then my proper war game fans. LET'S ITSELF DOWN GRAPHICALLY TOO.
