Firstly i have to firmly establish the point that you must not play this even vaguely hoping it to resemble FF7 or 8 in graphics because it clearly doesn't! That being said here's what i thought...
1.Graphics
Thats the most important thing really in this game, how have square enix made the mother of the FF saga? They have given her a huge face lift! Everything is touched up from maps to magic! And there are a few great CGI's that are itching to be discovered also!
2. Playability
Much like its successors it is hugely addictive, do keep your PSP charger at the ready because you will need it.
3. Plot
Very loose, not solid and tight like its successors but i wont complain this was after all only the beginning. It can also be a little hard to figure out where you will be heading at times but that can be overcame...
4. Learning Curve
If your a FF veteran about 5 seconds, otherwise a good 15 minutes of solid battling should suffice.
5. Conclusion
A welcome addition to the PSP portfolio and i am glad they remade it! Not a life altering game but certainly worth playing!
