Brief synopsis of Don King Presents: Prizefighter

Developed by Venom Games, the 2K studio that brought Rocky and Rocky Legends to the Xbox and PlayStation 2, Don King Presents: Prizefighter will bring the realism of live action match-ups and the true tactics of the sweet science together for the first time. More than just a night at the fights - players will be responsible for building a career by overcoming adversity, avoiding temptation, and balancing their commitments to train and promote, all while focusing on the goal of ultimately winning and defending the title belt. The story will be told by a revolutionary sports documentary-style narrative never before seen in a video game.

people who like fight night round 3 only like it as the game is so easy its unreal i played both games now i found that prizefight was more challenging than FNR3 as the fights were much more difficult as to the fights in FNR3 so if you want a good challage rent this game but if you are a gamerscore addict then rent FNR3

... You'll think this is better, i cant beleive what some people have wrote. When i first saw the game i thort it'd be a game with no licensed boxers and brands but actually it's got all the up to date boxers e.g Joe Calzage [even the legends] and all the BIG boxing brands e.g Lonsdale, Everlast!

Pure Perfect

downside= not anolog controls!!! :@

I don't know why they even bothered making this game when FNR3 already perfected the genre. If you press a punch button twice quickly, because of the laggy controls your boxer will end up punching once, then pulling back and punching again a whole second later. The only thing I prefer over FNR3 are the training exercises, some of which in this game are actually pretty challenging and reminiscent of Guitar Hero. Get FNR3 instead.

In a word..this game is awful...painfully poor....the controls are 'laggy' and slow,collision detection is random....graphics are scratchy,,sound is crap,there is no feeling of really belting the other player,ohhh god its a bad,don't bother adding to your list,you will send it back the same day.

AVOID!!!!!
