This was my first time at Animal Crossing and thought the gameplay was excellent. I have read that it doesn't offer much new to anyone who has played the series before, but as a newcomer, i found it highly enjoyable

I have really enjoyed this game on the GC & DS but was very disappointed to see that the Wii game was a wii-make and was virtually identical to the DS version.

If you've never played it before you may love it and it's well worth renting, but otherwise the déjà-vu and ability to quote Tom Nook & other characters word for word may just make this a futile waste of time. Kids will love the interactivity and the longevity of the game, but if they're expecting an update then I'd look elsewhere.

It wasn't what I was expecting so am very glad I didn't buy this title.

Rated - 4 starsSuper fun!

As a huge animnal crossing ds fan I was so excited about the release for the Wii. There are a few things that would have made this game a 5 star game but all in all it is great. Lots more to do compared to the DS. I love the fact that Shrunk has his own show now but disappointed that you can still only save 4 emotions.

What would I change? I would have liked Brewster to have hois coffee shop in the city maybe offering a choice of drinks and cakes.

I would have liked Able sisters to have been upgradable like Tom Nooks is.

Maybe the ability to interact with the characters more. Like when one will say that they wated a shoe shine but have no bells ~ maybe let you offer bells if you wish etc.

But all in all great fun!

I have never played any animal crossing game before, and heard that they were fun.

So I thought I'd try this one on Wii, and it was very addictive, I kept it for about 4 weeks, before deciding that I had out grown it, and that the game was repetitive.

Overall, it's good, to rent, but would be boring and pointless to own.
