Brief synopsis of World Snooker Championship 2005

Published by SEGA Europe, World Championship Snooker 2005 is the official game of the World Snooker Championship. It?s developed by Blade, the same specialist house that brought you World Championship Snooker 2003 and World Championship Pool 2004. Career mode follows the actual tournament schedule of the 2004/05 season, and you?ll play in world famous real life venues like the Crucible Theatre, home of the World Snooker Championship, rendered more accurately then ever before. The game pitches you against more than 80 real life pros, including superstars like Ronnie O? Sullivan, Steven Hendry, and young upstarts like Matthew Stevens and Paul Hunter. You can also play great masters from the past in the game?s unlockable Champions? Trophy. You can create your own professional player to personalise your snooker experience. Making it an even more compelling prospect is commentary provided by legendary pundits John Virgo, Steve Davis and loveable Liverpudlian John Parrott. Blade have upgraded their Aiming Aid so you have even more delicate control over tricky shots, and analogue control allows you to fine tune shot power. No need to go to the Snooker Hall now - you can challenge all-comers online. And if full-blown snooker seems like to much of challenging prospect, you can play any one of more frivolous games such as Billiards, Bar Billiards and Pool, as well as a rule-bending Snooker Plus mode. World Championship Snooker is the definitive choice for snooker fans on console and PC.
