Brief synopsis of Star Trek: Legacy

Star Trek: Legacy puts you in the Admiral's chair as you command your selection of starships into battle. Featuring lovingly-rendered space environments full of planets, stars and wormholes, detailed weapon effects, and full damage modelling, the single player Federation campaign and robust multiplayer modes span the entire history of Star Trek, with over 80 ships and four playable races: the Romulan Star Empire, the Borg Collective, the Klingon Empire and the United Federation of Planets. While commanding any of these fleets, Star Trek Legacy immerses you in a strategic and tactical experience, as you battle across vast stretches of space.

As the Admiral of the Fleet, you choose the ships, the gear and the captains that you will lead into battle. Star Trek Legacy is designed to provide an immersive strategic and tactical experience by putting the emphasis on the excitement of large-scale battles without the troubles that needlessly complex ship management can bring.

Awful control system, boring missions, pointless and poorly rendered cut scenes and all of this from the people who brought us Oblivion??? They must have a had a serious hangover from post elder scrolls adulation. One star for Kirks blithering....begrudgingly. I bored of it instantly and its JUST TERRIBLE.

Rated - 4 starsThe Best Star Trek Game So Far

Mark Pearce from Staffordshire, England , 16/02/2007

I have always been a fan of star trek games and i was really excited to hear about one being released on the Xbox 360. I was a little disappointed with the game. The levels can seem very similar to each other and there is little variety. However i loved the chance to recreate the great trek battles on line with my friends. The game needs more depth and more ships to use in multiplayer.

Rated - 1 starBethesda Soft, Boldly going from hit to.... rubbish

A customer from wales , 27/06/2007

As a long time trek fan/gamer my expectations of any new star trek game are low at best, but coming from the makers of Oblivion I didn't think it unreasonable to expect a degree of depth in the game play and a decent user interface.

I'd say it was a poor effort on Bethesda Soft's part, but frankly it's clear they didn't make any.
