Swim to your heart's content in Endless Ocean.

Please dont pick up this game if you are suffering from Attention Deficit Disorder! It will not appeal to most people and the subtlety of it will be lost on the majority of young gamers. If you pick up the game for short periods it is easy to dismiss it as dull and boring. Yet beneath the great visuals lies an absorbing underwater world. The huge variety of marine life and underwater activity is impressive. It's hard to think of this as a game, more an experience. If you fancy a break from endless shoot em ups or constant WII waggling nonsense, then this game is a welcome change. I defy anyone not get the 'Wow' factor when they chance upon some of the larger sea creatures like the giant squid. The sticker book collection system and the photo mode are great, they have even added the option to change the aperture of the camera. Hats off to the people who made this game, for trying to do something different. It wont be to everyones taste but give it a chance and I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Considering you're only borrowing it you can't really moan. On a personal note I think its a great little game!

Rented this game for my six year old daughter to play. She was bored within around 15 minutes. Repetitive and monotonous. The only up side to this game is the educational side with lots of facts and titbits about the marine life that you encounter.

There really isn't enough games like this on the market. Endless Ocean can be played at your own pace, not a pace set by the game to make you rush about, and there is so much to do that you can often end up playing it for a long time, with no ways to lose at it. Endless is a perfect way to unwind and rest your brain; it's simple to control, and you can even play your own MP3's while playing by inserting an SD card of MP3's into the Wii's SD slot at the front, so combine the game with your favorite chill out tracks and it's bliss. If you have a short attention span the game may not be for you. I would highly recommended this to anyone of any age, as it is aimed at no particular age group or gender. It is also a bargain at £20 as many games on the Wii cost double that yet have no where near as much to explore and discover.

For those seeking peace, quiet and adventure -- this game was made for you! Creative and fun, this game allows you to swim around lots of exciting underwater locations; the abyss (some strange creatures!); the Secret Lake; the Ruins etc. Each has their own kind of fish to learn about. Pretty soon you'll have your own diving 'partner' too -- some form of a dolphin. Although the title may say so, the ocean isn't exactly Endless -- though its flippin huge! And there's a lot of bland areas too -- with just sand, rocks, and a bunch of coral. Contolled by pointing the Wii remote at the screen to swim in the disired direction. Is a brilliant game at its heart, but a word to the wise---- RENT IT OUT, DO NOT BUY. This is because soon it may become a teensey bit booring-- as the lack of any sort of danger makes it kinda blandish. (you can swim up to a biig shark and not get looked at by it!) The best bit for me--- the Abyss. Once you acquire the right diving gear, you can dive down over 60m into the dark abyss. This is sooooooo fun, as there's tons of caves and strange fish about the place!Hint--- go to the abyss at night to avoid currents and to find a... celocanth! (obvious mis-spelling!) This is NOT a spoiler-- its just for your information.
