Brief synopsis of Lego Star Wars - The Complete Saga

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga takes the fun and endless customisation of everything Lego and combines it with the epic story, characters and action from Star Wars to create a unique game that lets you build and battle your way through a tongue-in-cheek Star Wars Galaxy.

Rated - 5 starsIt should never have been this good....

34 and counting but, with memories when I was a kid of playing with Lego for hours and remembering the epics of the two early Star warsfilms , this was a must buy, with awesome reviews and it is brilliant. I am not into the highly technical and complex 1 man shoot'em ups. When I had a N64, the only games I played were Mario Karts (cannot wait for that for the Wii next month!!!) and Golden Eye. I have Metroid Prime 3 fpr the Wii but if I am honest I have stopped playing it as it was too intense. Lego Star Wars is fun, silly and clever all in one. One to play with the young ones aswell. Think a purchase of the 6 Star Wars films is on the cards.

Rated - 3 starsGood but a bit repettitive

The concept is fun although the controls take a fair bit of getting used to.

I was considering buying this, however after a few days I realised that although I was progressing through the levels the gameplay itself was becomming repettitive.

There are many hidden and awkward areas to get to for power ups but it is not necessary to find them. You can just carry on through the game. There are no real challenges or puzzles (at least as far as I got to) would be fine for the young ones.

I did like the way the plot followed the film plot so closely.

Rated - 5 starsThe best game ever for the wii

Samol from Ravenglass [Highly rated reviewer] , 13/02/2008

This game is just the best ever! Based on the six original films, with some classic lego comedy thrown in. My 5 year old son and I play together and it has introduced him to the films too. We watch the film then played the chapter in the game. I don't normally like game based on films they are usually just part of the merchandise, but this stands out as an excellent game in its own right.

Much better than that wishy washy rubbish that it Zelda

Rated - 2 starsHuge Let Down

I was really excited about this game. All 6 movies in one game, in lego, with comical twists, what more could you ask for right? Wrong! the storyline is hugely watered down giving only small snipets of the movies causing the game to lose all ties with the movies. The gameplay is repetetive although mildly addictive. The characters are a joke, 160 characters and 50% of them are just variations of the other 50%. This game is kind of fun but deffinately not worth buying, maybe for a few nights rent but no more.
