Waste of time

What a total waste of time getting this game, simulations are hard enough but with no instructions make it even harder and I could even get it going.

My advice stay well clear !!!

I found the game interesting and enjoyable to play, (kept me entertained anyway).

Somtimes the game lags a bit.

Graphics are OK but could be better.

Very easy for about 600 gamescore the rest are bit harder.

Can't comment on whether the game is any good as the problem with getting games this way is you don't get any instructions. Put the disc in the machine and that was it. Hadn't got a clue what to do next, so sent it back.

I usually try to look for the good in a game but no matter how hard I tried I could only see one audience for this sort of game, Hornby Railway anoraks who have lost the will to live and can no longer afford to buy the models.

It is truly appalling. Whilst having a manual would no doubt have helped to some degree, this would not have helped the poor graphics or the awful control system, to name but a few problems. The publishing company must have thought the games company were joking when they presented this to them. I can't honestly believe a company would publish such a poor game unless they really had no choice. I also can't believe that this is a 360 game, I was playing games of this graphical quality about 5 years ago and consoles have progressed substantially since then.

Do not rent, do not buy, and if you get given this as a Christmas or Birthday present by a relative, never speak to them ever again.

In my oppinion this game was fun to play. I spend two hours learning the controls off a website but one i had learnt them then the game was great! Graphics aren't the best but i'd give them 7/10 and game play is similar to Transport Tycoon ( old pc game).

This game lets you make money off property, stock market shares and obviously trains. Your objective is to earn 10Billion to complete a level and there are 8 levels to complete without downloading more of them!!

If you only care about gamerscore, this game is a simple 600-930 gamerscore if you spend two days on it. Learning the controls wasn't too dificult and then after the first level i was already hitting 600GS. Happy days.

Fun and Enjoyable

I rented this game on whim without knowing what to expect and I have to say that I am glad that I took a chance and decided to rent this game. Everyone who has rented this game has given it a terrible review and I cant understand why, this game is really fun and it is nice to take a break from the intence games such as COD4 or GOW. This game is good for gamerscore and has a total of 24 achievments with no secrets or online needs. I would not buy this game because it is not very long and is a pretty basic idea but if you like games such as Sim City 4 and other bild and manage games then this will be a game for you. Rent this game and give it a chane ITS ALRIGHT.

From start i had no clue what i was meant to be done, felt like a game for bankers and people who organise train times who love their jobs, but hey 180 points in 30mins before I turned it off, not all bad it adds on another half a point

I hate complaining. about anything. But this was truly, spectacularly awful.

I have no idea how the programmers got away with releasing a game as inept, and completely unplayable as this, but i had to take it out of my console after 5 minutes as i could not see the screen properly, and nothing made any sense.

I can't really comment on the actual gameplay/playability due to the fact it was impossible to actually get that far!

Rant over now, i'm off to be happy again!

I was very disapointed with this game, not only was it not user friendly, but i personally think it was pourly designed, It may be eaisier if I were to download a user manual for it from somewhere, in order to understand the controls, but as far as I can see I am not impressed at all.

to be fair its probably an alright game , could do with a tutorial mode or something tho.

A Real Dissapointment

On seeing the game it looks to be really good and have good grafics, but there is no tutorial and there is no manual. So when selecting a level you have no idea which are easy or hard? Then upon opening a level there is no idication of what u should be doing, what you can control or what the object of the game is.

If this game had a tutorial i think it would be ace, but as it is i played it for an hour, didnt manage to do anything and sent it back!

I always liked the idea of these games, sadly they were never released in the UK, then eventually this is released.

When I first turned it on I hadn't got a clue what was happening, the game has no instructions nor does it tell you what to do in the game. I switched it off after about 5 minutes and thought 'rubbish.'

Later that evening I thought I'd do a google search, I found a guide which gave you the basics and the idea of the game and I had so much fun. Buying and selling shares was great, trying to manage the trains, the stations, hotels and factories was also great. This is not a game for 5 minute bursts you will spend hours playing it, you won't even realise the time going by.

The graphics do all what is needed, and I love the music, so relaxing.

Well worth a rent but search on google for a guide to maximize your enjoyment.

this game is terrible, got 860 gamer points with hardly having to touch a train. if it wasnt for some v helpful forums it would have gone straight back as the game gives you knw clue as what to do.

This must be one of the worst Xbox 360 games. Rubbish graphics, poor text which is too small and gives you a headache trying to read it and no guide. Not even a tutorial or advise on what to do.

Not worth playing unless you have a decent High Res TV, played this on a standard widescreen CRT TV and it was soooooo poor. Only play if your TV can take 720p (HD) resolution (still not worth while anyway).

I used to like A-train on the Amiga all those years ago, but it doesnt seem to have moved on from that.

They could have done so much better. You might like it if you want a train sim, but stay well clear if you after something entertaining.

Got 1 achievement easily, just built the bullet train straight off, didnt worry about anything else, but the rest of the achievements look boring and long winded.
