Rated - 5 starsthe game that all driving sumulators dream to be

daddyflash from kilwinning , 08/02/2009

Gran turismo is the best and most graphically advanced driving simulator ever to be made, Xbox have tried there hardest to compete with it they even decided to bring out PGR to compete with it, well let me see bought an xbox 360 as a stop gap might i add and bought PGR 3 what a load of pish the game is nowhere near as realistic as gran turismo 4 never mind GT5 prologue, if you want a white knuckle racing game with animation for graphics stick to PGR or the need for speed series, if you want to drive real cars with realistic gear changing and cornering in the closest thing to real time you must get Gran Turismo 5 when it is released it is by far going to be the nxt evolution of driving games al worship GT5

Rated - 5 starsPower-House

WillB89 from Brighton , 14/03/2009

Paying close attention to the developement, thechnologies and features that have been put into this game for the past few years, the promotional footage and the screenshots, as well as the wealth of cars and tracks and after the release of Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2 and Killzone 2, all of which have been commented on as having some of the best visuals in any games to date, Gran Turismo 5 will obviously further cement the PLAYSTATION 3 as the modern-day gaming power-house.

Rated - 4 starslong wait worth it??

B1TCH from Bilston , 17/07/2009

Lets just hope that this is the one GT5 that you can actualy play around with the cars than just tune them and to make availiable easyer and not to make the online exsperience alot more user freindly like.... 1. Ability to use mic. 2. Ability to invite freinds. 3. Ability to creat own races online to host.

Rated - 5 starsBoring?

A customer from Largs , 08/08/2009

For the people who find brakeing before a corner to be bring, I think you may be playing the wrong type of game.

And how can you all review a game that hasn't even been given a release date? idiots.

Rated - 3 starsgran turismo 5 ps3

burky from Bolton , 30/09/2009

ok i have a ps3 and a 360 i have gt5 prologe and a demo of forza 3 i have to say gt5 has its work cut out to beat forza 3, in every department at the mo forza quite simply kicks its arse. like i said i have both machines but the 360 is the best, oh gears of war 2 has better grafix than killzone 2. lets hope they put crash damage in gt5 because its looking very nice in forza 3

Hmm....What can i say...

I'm not 1st of all a major fan of driving games so my verdict on this may not be what the Turismo lovers want to here...

Basically,i had heard so much hype over the years of the Turismo games i thought hey i must be missing out so bit the bullet and just bought it.

I found the gameplay and driving to be fun and the cars to buy(eventually) are fantastic but...the whole feel of the overall longtivity and exitement just isnt there.

If your a fan then you know what is what,if not put yourself in the frame of mind of ps2 gameplay and dont waste your time, maybe check out Need For Speed?

Rated - 2 starsGood looking, but boring as hell

ussasx from Leeds , 12/02/2009

This game reminds me of an ex-girlfriend i shall not name.

Stunning and great to show of to your mates (the game looks great on a decent HD TV) but when it comes to spending some alone time you find yourself wondering what you are doing. Trade it in for the slightly plumper not as good looking version that actually has some personality!

As per previous reviews this game (GT5 Prologue), has fantastic detail and the graphics are great however on the 25th time racing the same circuit the mind numbing boredom of having to actually break before every corner becomes a bit much.

Perhaps the full game will have more variety, but i bought my PS3 for some excitement and to be able to get stuck in. NFS ProStreet has realism, fantastic graphics and is exciting. By far a winner over GT5 in my books.
