A nice game if you play with the family. Playing it on a single player mode gets boring after a while.

I've played many versions of computer Monopoly over the years and this has to be one of the worst. The graphics are nice to look at, but they're about its only saving grace. The game play is slow. 'Mr Monopoly' walks around the board throughout the game constantly telling you how the game works and what cards do what. He's about as annoying as the paperclip in Word, except you can't turn him off.Trading with other players takes many clciks and if the first offer is rejected then you have to start over. Why can't you adjust the deal and try again? Never mind. Also, the controller vibrates on full power every time it's your turn. The only options in the game are whether to have subtitles or not. There are no controller, volume or picture options. You can't turn off vibrate from within the game. You can't turn off the indescribably annoying narrator.Overall, this is a perfect example of style over content. Rent it for a day if you want to experience it, but certainly don't waste money on this if you like Monopoly.

i would think this game could be good but wouldnt it be simpler just to blow the dust off that old monopoly board & play it like it was played. back in 1933. It would have more atmosphere if there was the guy you couldnt trust or the guy whos your best friend. Thats the whole point in monopoly in the board game. You cant cheat secretively or you cant work with someone. Theres no point to this....

Just a quick review.. I already have Monopoly on the Wii and thought why not give it a go on the PS3 with HD graphics and all..I was fairly disappointed. The graphics were too sharp to view the board properly. The loading times were quite long. The Xbox 360 version has achievements and with the Wii you can shake the remote to throw the dice. The PS3 version offers nothing unique. Save your rent credit folks.Peace

good at first until you find the computer cheats and fiddles it so you lose. this is not me being paranoid.
