Rated - 3 starsAtmospheric but flawed

I rented this as it looked like something a little different from the usual adventure game, I wasn't disappointed on that score it managed to deliver something different, unfortunatly it could of been a whole lot better.

The graphics were very atmospheric but the glitchy and sloppy animation let it down at times, music was sparse but immersive when it was there.

Gameplay itself left me a little confused, with sometimes to obvious idea where to go next as routes were not obvious, and the ingame puzzles were postively weird and didn't always make a lot of sense meaning on most occasions you were left stumped as the puzzles didn't work out as logical as they should have been, leaving me scouring the net for a solution otherwise I would have been banging my head against a controller in angst.

Overall the game felt good which is why it got its 3 stars and kept me wanting to see what was going to happen next, unfortunatly it eventually broke me as I got tired of stumbling into another illogical puzzle with a solution that didn't make sense.

As a final note to this game, there are no guns in it, its not a shooting game, people expecting an action based adventure will be disappointed, but for those looking for an atmospheric adventure then this is for you.

No guns? So what's the point then????

Trust me, it's a good little game for fans of the Resident Evils and Silent Hills due to the atmosphere and the gory plot.

Your a CSI kinda cop, called to a murder scene, searching for clues, taking samples and photos blah, blah, blah.....

I haven't finished this yet so i can't tell you too much, but what i can say is, the menus/controls are easy, the graphics are good and you want to find out what's next so its quite addictive. As in the 'Alone In the Dark' type games, you DO get stuck sometimes, but its worth it.

Rent it to try and buy if you like it, that's what i did.
