Rated - 3 starsGood laugh

Soraya Holmes from Gosport, Hants , 12/06/2007

If you've enjoyed Wii Sports then you'll like this one.

9 new games offering amusement throughout, easy to play which makes it an all round entertainer.

You certainly get to grips with the wii remote for this one.

i got this game when i bought my wii, if you havent got it, its worth a rent with some great starter games, i love the shooting one and although i've played it tons of times and since played much better newer games, i still go back now and again to have a blast on this one, give it a go!

Rated - 3 starsAverage

TheOrs from Southampton [Highly rated reviewer] , 21/10/2008

I bought this title rather than rent it as it came with a Wii controller at the time which saved me over £20.00.

The games themselves are average at best and they won't hold your attention for very long. However, worth getting as long as it still comes with the controller.

Rated - 4 starsif you have young children, you'll love Wii Play

apuk2004 from Derby , 14/02/2008

I got a Wii for the family for xmas and decided to buy Wii Play as it comes with an extra controller (for around £35).

The mini games are all very good and are more suitable for younger children than wii sports in my opinion.

Having said that, i have probably spent the most time on it trying to get gold medals in shooting & pool, and i'm 32!! :-)

Rated - 1 starPointless and Boooorrring

A customer from Glasgow , 30/10/2008

This game is only good for people new to playing console games and want to get to grip with the Wii controller.

The 'mini' games that are involved are crap and there has been no imagination put into their creation and detail. The graphics are poor and look like they were created by a 5 year old in microsoft paint.

We have burrowed the Wii from a friend and considering purchasing one soon. This game is a poor effort from Nintendo and would not encourage me to buy a Wii. Thankfully we have found some other Wii games that make the Wii stand out as a worthwhile future investment.

Rated - 5 starsWii Play

A customer from Kilbirnie , 11/12/2008

Wii play is well good, better when your playing 2 player, fishing was quite boring, Billards was amazing, shooting and tanks were good too, they kind of games you need to keep playing to get better...addictive but gets boring if you play it too much!! Cow Racing Was Fun, but not for mong...Best by far was find mii...soo challenging you want to keep going to get a better score!!

Rated - 2 starsGood for about an hour

JRM247 from Alexandria , 14/09/2008

Its good fun trying each of the challenges but after this has passed gameplay can get a bit boring.I would say for smaller children it is a good starter game but has no long time appeal.

I would recommend Wii Sports and Sonic/Mario Olympic games as far superior.

Rated - 4 starshours of fun!!

Manj from Northampton [Highly rated reviewer] , 13/06/2008

This is a great game, and the kids had hours of fun!!. I was trying to buy this game along with a spare Wii remote control, but it was completely sold out just before Xmas. Not as good as the original Wii sports but worth a try anyway.

Rated - 2 starsI can see why it was free!

Gavlovesfilm from Nottingham , 03/11/2009

When you first start you have to play through each game to unlock the next - pay a chimp to sit and do this for you (2 bananas is a fair price).

The first 4 games are awful.

The fishing and 9 ball pool are ok. The tanks game is a good idea.

COW RACING IS HILARIOUS!!!!!!! Brilliant - should be a disc on its own!

Rated - 3 starsgood for the young-uns

A customer from Canterbury , 22/07/2009

Got this for the kids loved, good for the younger ones. Very colourful and game play simple, some tasks harder than others but all worth a go and a laugh. Multi player option means can play easily one on one but this can cause problems if varying age ranges as the older one find it to easy.

cloudswift from Bangor , 29/03/2009

6 games that feel like they've been stolen from an Amiga and polished up

Rated - 5 starsNobody else likes this, but we do!

Jo&Matt from England , 22/03/2009

This has been generally slated for being too simple. It is very simple, 8 mini-games which are supposed to teach you how to use different movements of the Wiimote. Some of them are a bit 'play it once, then move on'.

However, we found several of the mini-games really good fun - particularly the 'tanks' game, which is stupidly addictive, as are the versions of air hockey and pool. Most if not all of the games have 2-player options, which is particularly good with pool. Racing the knitted cow has cute-appeal too.

It took us a few weeks to bring ourselves to put it back in the post! Mostly due to continually trying to complete 'Tanks'!

It's not a hardcore gamers game. But we didn't get a Wii to play hardcore games.

Rated - 2 starsA bit disapointed

HEvans from Ammanford , 27/02/2009

This game is not what i expected. But saying that i am very fussy with games. Only found two good ones to date. Wii Fit and Biggest Brain

Rated - 1 starShot in the foot

Beanmachine from Coventry , 17/02/2009

You could forgive this game for being below par as it was 1 of the original titles on the system however, Wii Sports is far superior and it came FREE with the console. Ninendo would have done themselves a favour if they had packaged the Wii with this game instead, but thankfully they didn't.

Lame attempt at a game, clearly rushed out to meet the console release date. Rent it, see for yourself, just DONT BUY IT

great introduction to the wii consule. Great fun for the family. It kinda wets the lips in anticipation of things to come.

Rated - 2 starsa bit of a disappointment

Wishbird Wishbird from Barnsley , 29/07/2008

I have previously played on Wii Play last xmas and thought it was ok. But what I didnt realise was you could not choose out of the 8 games which one you wanted to play, you had to go through each one and score before you played on the following game.

So it was a slight disappoint.

I still love the Wii though its an ace bit of kit! Hope to get Wii fit at some point when its not out of stock!

x
