This game surprised me in more ways than one. I expected it to be another boring movie tie-in game and in many ways, it is. But it has loads of interesting features and fun moves to keep you interested. As you progress through the game and earn more moves and power-ups, you really do feel very powerful, and it's fun. And the motorbike sections are fantastic, with responsive, well thought out controls and fun obstacles and enemies. Where Ghostrider does fall however is in the enemies. Most of the time you're fighting monotonous hordes of boring, identikit zombies or bikers. Even the boss characters aren't much to shout about. And after a while whacking the same group of mindless goons does get tedious.

Another thing that surprised me was how Ghostrider seems to be an odd mix of Gow of War and Devil May Cry with the Ghostrider models slapped on! The chains you fight with operate almost EXACTLY THE SAME as Kratos' Blades of Chaos, even down to copying the same button lay out from GOW! Even evading using the right stick is there! and the Rage mode and shotgun are ripped right out of DMC, with the Rage bar filling up very similar to the Devil Trigger bar and the shotgun being an exact copy of Dante's. While this in no way hinders the game, I found it highly amusing to be able to transplant my God of War skills into Ghostrider.

In closing, if you enjoy GOW and similar hack-n-slash titles, and you enjoyed the film, rent this. It'll keeo you busy for a while. Just don't expect any surprises...

this game is really good the graphics are super on it plays really well to i managed to complete it and it was pritty long to but its a good game some parts are harder the boss at the end is not that hard when u find the route to kill him took me 2 atemts
