Poor controls bad gameplay spoil what otherwise is a great idea - Crazy Golf on the Wii.

We can only hope another software company picks up the gauntlet

Rated - 1 starThank god for renting!!!

A customer from Tamworth , 29/05/2008

So glad I rented this rather than buying it. Sent it back the next day!! Think Mario Kart, My Simms and Big Brain academy have spoilt me - used to much more fun when playing.

Ok, the story is a little odd, the graphics not too good, sound passable...but the control....

The club control is as follows:

Press A to activate the power bar, tilt the wii remote to adjust the power (angle = power), then press A to lock this. Finally, wiggle/throw/drop/swing/generally move the remote and it takes the shot.

Yes, isn't that just like the real thing!

No? Right it just doesn't work.

Bottom line is, this game may have been a great play but the control just kills it. If only they could patch the control to be more...well...wii like and it would work. The average/poor graphics/sound/story would be no problem when you want to tap some balls around some interesting holes WiiSports style!
