Although not quite as bad as the hour mentioned, I completed this on hard in two hours.

There was so much wrong with this game it's unbelievable. This was released at christmas time too so it's not old. I don't know how developers live with themselves after actually being satisfied with the end product

I feel sorry for anyone who bought it

This game is great for kids and the AI makes it easier even on hard, however when you play the game it just stops mid play to reload the next scene, it really is unbelieveable and if I had paid money for this I would be demanding a refund.

I dont know what it is with Microsoft but they are accepting games that arent even finished and polished not once but nearly every game requires updates, they just want the games out and we as idiots are happy with it.

If you have ever played a good wartime FPS (Medal of Honour/the COD series) then prepare for the flipside of good.

This game is so bad I don't know where to begin.

The AI is abysmal, your squadmates get in the way or block your path; the enemy AI is laughable. The level design is boring (jungle or trenches all the way through the game). There isn't enough Ammo. It's way too easy, even on 'hard' mode, and you can finish the whole game in under 2 hours.

If you want to rent a terrible game for a quick and easy 500 GS Points, then knock yourself out, otherwise avoid like the plague.

Decent game.

not the best war game out there. Nothing compared to hte usual medal of Honour, or COD or Brother in Arms, but worth the couple of hours.

found it a bit too short, wasnt too sure when it finished.

Far Too Easy

It's a decent game, glad i rented it rather than bought it. Started playing it and did it on easy first, an hour later campaign was over, so started it on the hardest level, a further hour and complete again, so it must be easy, as i am pants lol. Graphics are ok, and the cut aways to actual wartime footage were a nice touch. To be honest, it's all been done before, but if you are like me, a fan of WW2 games you may enjoy, albeit a very short game. Cannot tell you what online play was like as at the time i played no one was on xbox live playing it.

Overall, good for a rent but would not recommend buying it.

10 x 15 min levels does not a game make

(and the 3 trench levels are all identical)

only 4 weapons and a gun turret, thats yer lot

No-one in the WORLD is playing this online

Recieved at 10am - completed and returned 1pm - same day !

For gamerscore junkies (like me) however you get 460 points in 2 hours

i knew this game was pretty bad when it arrived, but I never thought it would be as terrible as this, why on earth would the history channel have there good name involved with such a title. GRAPICS ARE HORRIBLE WITH THE SAME VOICE STAMENT BEING MADE EVERY 5 MINS, WEPONS SOUNDS LIKE CAP GUNS, AND OFCOURSE THE AI DO NOTHING OTHER THAN LOOK THE OTHER WAY WHEN YOU WALK PASS. THE DEVELOPERS SHOULD HANG THERE HEADS IN SHAME, AS THIS WOULD EASILY REACH THE TOP 10 WORST XBOX TITLES.

FOR THOSE WHO MAY STILL DOUBTH ME, (SILLY YOU )PLAY IT ON HARD AS IT VERY EASY AND YOU WILL AT LEAST IF NOTHING ELSE GET AROUND 460GP FOR PLAYING THE THE STORY MODE I DID IT IN 2 HOURS AND I HAD BREAK INBETWEEN.

AVOID AT ALL COST.

okay this game isnt the best, it may have been done on a low budget, but if your looking for easy gamerscore its a good one to get, the single player mode is intresting, its not hard but its okay to play if youve been out the night before, i played this still a little drunk and completed it in 2-3 hours so i thought this game was the best easy gamescore game ive played so far

ok so it wasnt as bad as i tought it would be its ok but really short took me under two hours on hard graphics 6/10 gameplay 3/10 framerate 1/10 the actuall story is like playing the darkness online pure lag. I also thought it was like a call of duty 2 expansion pack based on extra secondary/optional objectives as the levels last about 15 min a piece and proberly 5-7 enemys on screen at once. there is no large scale battles, SPOILER* your team mate calls an airstrike on an emty airfield SPOILER* there is no fell to the game it dosnt feel like a war game. The game was proberly rushed and the game engine wouldnt have washed on widows 95, that being said its a very easy 1000 gamerpoints if you have someone to boost with.

This game is awful! Yes, in 2 hours, on Hard difficulty, you can finish this game and get 460 gamerpoints, but the other 540 are online achievements, if you can be bothered!

I'm just thankful this ONLY lasted 2 hours. It is horribly repetitive, you either have a trench scenario, or jungle scenario, you run along a bit, shoot 5 or 6 enemies, run along a bit more, shoot 5 or 6 more. The controls are very sluggish, seconds after moving the look stick left or right, the screen actually starts to move that way.

The graphics are poor, the controls are poo the game play is poor.

Certainly don't buy this game, rent it if you want 460 more gamerpoints easily, but be warned, it's dull dull dull and you'll start questioning why you're even bothering to play it when you could be playing something far better in your time.

Personally I wish world war II had never happened, because then this game would have never been made.

Rubbish game, barely worth playing through, easy achievements but not worth your sanity for getting them.

To think in an age of COD 4 , COD5m gears of War 1 and 2 , you can see where Im going with this, we have the histort channel seen better graphics on my old amiga, its shocking, however on the plus side even on the hardest settings its an easy 450 gamer points,

Rent if you want the points dont rent if you want to actually enjoy a game,

This game isn't no Call Of Duty but its still fun to play and a hell of a lot better than that Hour Of Victory game.

I would recommend renting this game but not buying it, very easy on the hard level but still fun.

Now, don't get me wrong, this is no Call of Duty.

But if your looking for some quick achievements this easy WW2 shooter might be worth givingt a try.

Completed the game in hard mode in 2 hours, easy achievments.

Well, I played the game 'open minded' after reading the negative reviews, and the game really is quite awful. The game is glitchy, freezes and the AI is not that intelligent at all. If the game was actually tested before production, the testers deserve to be sacked.

Rent this at your own peril. Although you can pickup a couple of hundred gamerscore easily if you can bare it.

Complete rip of COD 2, If you want very east 1000 gamer points, get this and stick it on the hardest setting, but if you want a good shooter avoid this like the plague.

i read some reviews before renting this and thought ill get it just for a gamerscore points,

i just couldnt play it, alot of the points are for *finish level 1 with 95+% accurracy....

finish lvl 2,3,4 etc

i just could not play a fps game where i basically could only fire my gun once a level all through the game...i played it for about 20mins??? must of melle killed 50+people but didnt get ay achievements when i should of!!!!

everyone seems to be saying that this game is terrible, but i think its average, maybe not as good as cod but good enough. the graphics are pretty average but great veiws of beaches, mountains and jungle with a vast amount of colour. very easy i completed it in just under 2 hours on the hardest difficulty setting and achieved 460g. VERY EASY. there isnt anyone online so you cant get half of the achievements anyway because they are all for getting kills online???!!! to tell you the truth i actually preffered this game than cod 4 and battlefield bad company. not bad

I'm a fan of historical facts,but when they use ancient graphics in a game with such potential I begin to worry!.

I see a potential with the game,just not with the graphics and old gamer play.
