    I'm sure you'll agree that one never sits down to watch a straight-to-DVD horror movie with high expectations, and because of this every so often we can be pleasantly suprised..

    'Babysitter Wanted' begins with protaganist Angie (Sarah Thompson) moving to a new college & taking a babysitting job at a farmhouse out in the sticks.

    Watching the first half you may think to yourself you've seen this movie a hundred times before but I implore you to stay aboard for the movie's sudden twist, which is followed by some satisfying violence & gore.

    Bill Mosely of 'Rob Zombie horror' fame makes an neat appearance as the local sheriff and the attractive Sarah Thompson is likeable in the lead role.

    Obviously this will never be a classic but as far as recent low-budget horror goes, this isn't bad at all..   55 out of 55 people found this review helpful
