  If you are going to sit down and watch a 2006 Norwegian Slasher you might already be expecting a few things. For example; isolated Norwegians, a faceless killer, tension, bloodshed, mobile phone signal failure... subtitles.
  
  Cold Prey delivers on all of this. It is a stylish, robust and well-executed modern entry to the sub-genre. It should be a joy to established fans who are used to thriving on subtle variations and a welcome thrill ride to those looking for an hour and a half of light entertainment.
