    Jodha Akbar is probably the cleanest historicl film ever made (I cannot understand why people keep digging up dirt while making a film on a historical character). Although much of the story has been constructed from folklore, rather than accountable history, the film is endearing and absolutely lovable.

    Lavish sets against the back drop of beautiful Rajasthan is an absolute visual pleasure. The story moves smoothly (although is rather slow) and the chemistry between characters is subtle rather than crass and abrupt.It is indeed nice to see chivalry, romance (for a change) and heroines praying to gods for the well being of her beloved (wonder when that stopped in Bollywood!!!)

    Not a film for adrenaline junkies, but a masterpiece for sure!!
