    I think you make an interesting point about the movie and trying to bring your point across but there is one flaw in your statement:
    Nobody can deny Chanel’s involvement with the Nazis in WWII but the movie title is still ‘Coco before Chanel’ which means this movie is explaining Coco Chanel’s earlier life.

    I guess you did see the movie and near the end of the movie ‘Boy’ Chapel dies which was in 1919 so well before her involvement with the Nazi regime over 20 years later.
    I am NOT defending her actions just clearly stating the obvious regarding the movie.
    But thank you very much for your comment regarding the film despite the fact most of it is word for word copied and perhaps pasted from Wikipedia!!! :-)


    My personal view regarding the movie: I had no idea about her humble upbringing and I think the movie is showing that quite nicely. To me the movie was more education than anything else. Nice costumes, good acting and interesting choice of actors!!!   1 out of 1 person found this review helpful
