    I will start by saying that this film has some serious flaws. It is made from a German novel not from Historical facts. The synopsis states the Royal Family are devout Catholics. I didn't see any sign of that in this film with the Mother of the King being a evil woman, one son being gay and the other two useless. There is nothing devout Catholic about that to me nor was any of that historically true. It was almost an anti Catholic film.

    Another issue is that its not even in French, which i found out when i had in French and the voices didn't match the mouths. It is actual a whole German production which if i knew before i wouldn't of bothered at all. There is no French feel to the film, serious twisted facts and a complete lack of action or graphical combat depiction.

    In whole it was a load of rubbish to the point that if i didn't have to give the DVD back to LoveFilm i would of destroyed it.
