It's something I would normally stear well clear of but on this occasion the subject of Rome has not been approached as purely a study of power. Its great to see the citizens of Rome go about their ordinary business. The storylines are good, often unbeleivable, juxtaposed with the anticlimactic. If anything Rome is brilliantly produced but more than that it is an attempt at accuracy without being too pompus.
