Crash
on DVD
(2005)
Starring: Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon
Director: Paul Haggis
Certificate:
A newspaper editor's idea of cutting-edge social commentary. Wall-to-wall cartoon clichés of all that's supposed to bubble under American society. I tolerated the black carjackers trying to be all Tarantino and babbling pseudo-intellectual toss before pulling out big guns. But by the time the hispanic alarm engineer who was slagged off for being a gang-banger (ooh there's a gritty street word) went home and tenderly tucked his sprog into bed, I turned off and put on a Fawlty Towers DVD instead. Unwatchable.
