    One of my main reasons for not having watched this film sooner is that when they receive the attention this one did at the time I am always worried they will not live up to the hype. Whilst for me this was just an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours I can understand why it had the impact on some people that it did. Jake and Heath can only be commended for their highly convincing portrayals in what must have been less than easy roles to play - particularly as homosexuality would still seem to be such a taboo subject in Hollywood.
