Cinematically excellent but not worth the time due to lack of continuity. It's a 'Being John Malkovich'/'American Psycho' of the Pan-European genre. A 9 year old's pre-pubescent fantasy of what his life would be like in three different scenarios/girls.Unfortunately, the same 9 year old is also in charge of the remote control and hence flicks back and forth and sideways into the different 'chapters' of his imaginary empty lives with the same age-related attention-span. I was rather hoping for a sci-fi dealing with the colonisation of Mars, not another American 'let's do Mars, this year' vacation which was covered in 10min of the 2.5 hour 'fantasy'. Clearly a lot of EU Arts money went on the scenes and special effects, pity the story line was not of the same quality. Of course, this genre will appeal to the junk generation who have to have everything 'served' up to them so that they may emulate rather that innovate.
