    By any estimation, this must, surely, be regarded as one of the greatest documentary series of all time. I first saw it aged about 13 and it has never left me. It implanted in me not only a love of astronomy but a deep and abiding respect for the scientific tradition. And as for the creator and presenter, Carl Sagan, well, I struggle to find the words to describe a man of such consummate intelligence and integrity. I am furious he was stolen from us, by the non-existent God, so young. Brilliant. Simply brilliant.   3 out of 3 people found this review helpful
