I wish I had read the customer reviews of this film before I ordered it instead of just reading Tom Charity's inexplicable eulogy on it. It had no structure and no ideas, Buddhist or otherwise, that I could discern. It was the slowest film I have ever seen and the holding shots were held so long I thought the DVD had frozen. As for the princess and the catfish - words fail me.
