    Unfortunately I was very disappointed in this movie. I found it excruciatingly slow and monotonous; in order to watch and really enjoy it you have to have the patience of a saint. The biggest problem is that WW11 has been explored, visualized and interpreted so many times before and with much more success, so this film feels very redundant and unnecessary. On the plus side ‘some’ of the imagery really does work particularly the scenes around the swamps and in the fields after a night raid. Overall: Boring.   7 out of 8 people found this review helpful
