The reviewers who think that only the stupid or uneducated would find this film boring are deluding themselves (and being enormously patronising with it). This is an indulgent, flat film with some wooden acting and a deeply dreary script. Matt Damon is practically catatonic in the lead role. This is the sort of film that film buffs love to love because they think it makes them look intelligent if they do. Try Charlie Wilson's War or Syriana if you want to see how this sort of film should be done...
